“With over 3 inches of rain on Monday afternoon, the course was still playing wet today during the Pro-AM.” So expect the course to play a little longer than normal as most shots will not release much (at least today and tomorrow). Weather conditions may change heading into Saturday and Sunday.

With wet conditions, a premium will be placed on keeping balls in the fairway. “The rain has made the rough much thicker and deeper.” As conditions improve this week, expect the course to get better and better each day of the tournament.

Best Seats at John Deere Classic

As Duane told us, “one of the best spots if you are going to bring the family will be behind 7th tee.  The John Deere Family Fun Center was a big hit when I brought my family here last year… With plenty of activities for the kids, you can also take in the golf from the 6th green, 7th tee, 8th green and 9th tee.”

Can’t beat seeing 4 holes in one area.

“Its just a great spot to watch golf, have some fun in the family center and even grab a bite to eat.
